Lattafa Badee Al Oud Oud for Glory
An amber-woody oud, and the one profile in this catalogue where we publish no note pyramid at all: the house itself prints two contradictory ones on the same page.

Lattafa Badee Al Oud Oud for Glory · At a glance
An amber-woody oud, declared unisex by the house, and one of the most widely sold Arabian fragrances in Europe. This profile covers Oud for Glory only — not Honor & Glory, Amethyst, Sublime or Noble Blush, which are different fragrances.
This is the only profile in our catalogue that publishes no note pyramid, and the reason is worth reading before you buy.
Why there is no pyramid on this page
Lattafa publishes two different, incompatible note pyramids for this fragrance on the same official product page. They do not share a single top note:
- The structured Fragrance Notes block gives bergamot, pink peppercorn and blackcurrant; then peony, caramel and oud wood; then raspberry, patchouli and dry amber. Parfumo carries this reading.
- The descriptive paragraph on the same page, and the brand’s US store, give saffron, nutmeg and lavender; then agarwood and patchouli; then agarwood, patchouli and musk. Fragrantica carries this reading.
There is no way to prefer one on evidence. The house publishes both, so the house does not arbitrate. The saffron-and-lavender version appears on more pages, but the paragraph carrying it on lattafa.com reproduces Fragrantica’s text verbatim, so the house and Fragrantica are one documentary chain, not two confirmations. The citrus-and-caramel version sits on Parfumo, the genuinely independent source, but we could not trace where it came from.
There is a further reason for caution. The same official page emits social metadata belonging to a different product in the line, Bade’e Al Oud Amethyst, complete with its year and its fragrance family. And the same Fragrance Notes widget shows, on the Amethyst page, materials that do not match Amethyst in any other source. The widget is demonstrably desynchronised from the products it describes.
We could have picked the more common version and moved on. Every other site does. But a pyramid we cannot attribute is exactly the kind of claim this catalogue exists not to make, so the field stays empty until the house resolves its own contradiction or a distributor publishes a verifiable ingredient list.
What we can say about how it smells
Only what both readings agree on, which is the finish: this is an amber-woody fragrance in which oud and patchouli carry the second half, over a resinous, faintly sweet base. The house’s own declared family is “Amber Woody” and both databases agree with that classification. Anything more specific — whether the opening is saffron or bergamot, whether there is caramel in the heart — is precisely what the sources dispute, and we are not going to invent a resolution.
This is a description of the area of agreement, not a wear test and not a pyramid.
Choosing the right version
The Badee Al Oud line has at least five members and they are not variations in strength: Honor & Glory is a pineapple and crème-brûlée composition, Amethyst is a rose-and-oud, and both have their own separate entries in every source. There is also a bundle with a deodorant and a hair mist. Read the full name on the box.
Longevity and projection
The longevity and projection scores on this profile are Parfumo community ratings for this exact fragrance, checked on 3 November 2026 — not a SCENTIVOIRE skin test. Parfumo publishes no versatility score, so we show none. Your skin, dose and climate will change the result.

Who is it for?
For someone who wants to try oud without a niche price, and who is comfortable buying a fragrance whose published composition is uncertain. If exact note accuracy matters to you, sample before committing — which is our advice anyway, and here more than usual.

What others compare it to
This is the most consistently proposed alternative in the batch: several sources describe it as standing in for Initio Oud for Greatness, one of them calling the two “about 95% identical in the final dry down”, and Parfumo’s community list of similar scents puts Oud for Greatness first. Every one of those sources is pseudonymous, so we record the claim and its authorship rather than adopting it. No named editorial source we found takes a position either way, and Lattafa mentions no inspiration on its own page.
Where to buy Oud for Glory and price
On 3 November 2026 we checked our affiliate retailers. Scento (Germany, shipping across the EU) listed Oud for Glory as a 2 ml decant at €5.90, 5 ml at €9.90 and an 8 ml travel spray at €13.90, all in stock. We could not verify a full-bottle price at our other partners at this check, so none is shown. Commercially this is the strongest fragrance in the batch and editorially the weakest documented, which is an uncomfortable combination and the honest way to describe it. Worth sampling on the strength of the oud-and-patchouli finish that all sources agree on, and worth knowing that the rest of the pyramid is disputed by the brand itself.

Sources and methodology
- Lattafa · official product page, which publishes two conflicting note pyramids
- Lattafa US · official store, carrying the saffron reading
- Fragrantica · the saffron, nutmeg and lavender reading
- Parfumo · the bergamot, peony and caramel reading; records the release year as unknown
Checked on 30 September 2026. The unisex designation, the size and the Amber Woody family are attributed to Lattafa. No note pyramid is published on this profile because the house itself prints two mutually exclusive ones on the same page and we cannot attribute either; both are set out above so the reader can see the conflict. The launch year is not published for the same reason: the house’s 2020 rests on a paragraph that reproduces Fragrantica’s text verbatim, Parfumo records it as unknown, and the page’s own social metadata states 2021 while describing a different product. No perfumer is credited because no source names one. No SCENTIVOIRE skin test has been carried out. Longevity and projection are Parfumo community ratings (2,623 longevity votes), checked on 3 November 2026; versatility stays pending.
